Shoes For Men

Wear lots of Olukai and wanted to see if these could be similar but less expensive alternative. I do not expect them to be the same quality but at $30 versus $90 for the Olukai I am willing for some differences. Quality of the material, design and sole comfort is really good. Well made with quality materials and good fit and finish. Fit was really good out of the box (actually a bag). Love the color and a substantial sole that on the day I wore them we got some sleet/ice and they gave good traction. A issue as stated in some other reviews is the heel rub. The top fit against the back of your achilles is really stiff and tight. Even with socks its noticeable and uncomfortable. Wearing them without socks is painful. I thought if I gave them a full day at the office with normal wear they would loosen. They did not. Maybe over time they will but for the foreseeable future these will have to be worn with a pretty heavy sock to prevent blisters. That was about the only drawback but if you are looking for a weekender boat shoe to wear while chilling – it kills the vibe to have to wear socks. They are of good enough quality and look that you can pair with jeans and even good casual pants. I’m glad I have them to compete with my casual slip-ons for work and everyday wear, just not a good option for party/relaxing/drinking weekends.
